Thanks

A big thank-you to everyone who popped over to the Moda Bakeshop to see my Criss Cross quilt, and welcome to anyone who found themselves on my blog!

When we visited Paris in February, I picked up these bright spotty fabrics in a shop near the Sacre Coeur. It sells every sort of fabric you could imagine! So while I'm watching Wills and Kate say 'I do' on Friday morning,

I'll be sewing up something special.. I'll share it next week!

Criss Cross Quilt

I'm delighted to share my latest recipe on the Moda Bakeshop :)

Criss Cross QuiltIt's made using two charm packs and some extra yardage of 'Just Wing it!' by Momo for Moda. I just love the large prints on the back! Quick to put together and very little wastage, every scrap of the charm pack is used! Super colours!
Perfect for a little girl or boy!

And especially for you: (drum roll please!)

The Fat Quarter Shop are offering a 10% discount

on 'Just Wing it!' fabric up until 18th May.

Catch up and Happy Easter!

Spring is in full fling in the Clogher Valley.

A spell of sunny weather has given us

thorn hedges in bloom...

Trees and flowers have come to life
Here is a view of Knockmany - a hill we love to walk.
And this is a view from the top on a very hazy day,
the view is normally much more spectacular!
Patchwork class has come to an end for this season,
here are some of the class members with only a few of the items we made...
I recently offered to make my son a flag for a big rugby game he was going to.
Two days of sewing later....
He was pleased with the flag,
unfortunately the result of the game was not as pleasing!

Happy Easter!

and...
'Just Wing it' back here on Tuesday for my latest Moda Bakeshop project ;)

Pretty in Pink

Got some lovely new fabric in the post, from Riley Blake Designs!!Wanna Be A Cowboy 2
Pink, pink, pink!
Can't wait to get started on this project
for Riley Blake's 'Cutting Corners College'.
Its a great place to find patttern ideas for their fabric.
But here's a problem,
do I finish this?
Central Park
or do I just dive in and start a new project?
Are you a finisher?
Or do you just keep on starting?!
